Kanye West e Rihanna sono da tempo colleghi e amici. I due hanno già lavorato insieme più volte ( Run This Town, All of The Lights, FourFiveSeconds ) e adesso, della serie non c'è 2 senza 3, Kanye ha voluto la splendida voce della cantante barbadiana anche nel suo ultimo disco T.L.O.P.
Il disco è stato presentato ieri in un evento esclusivo tenutosi a New York, "Yeezy Season 3", dove sono state rese note le tracce del disco.
Tra queste figura appunto la collaborazione con Rihanna, Famous, un brano dove esce fuori come al solito la vena artistica produttiva di Kanye, che sarebbe dovuto inizialmente essere proprio il produttore esecutivo dell'ottavo album di Riri, quell'ANTI che ala fine di Kanye non aveva più niente!
La canzone ha fatto parlare anche per alcuni versi incriminati, dove Kanye si rivolge alla collega Taylor Swift, dandole della "bitch", e prendendo i meriti dello straordinario successo ottenuto dalla cantautrice americana " I made that bitch famous". Si riferisce naturalmente a quella famosa serata dei VMA quando Kanye ha fermato la premiazione di Video Dell'Anno, appunto vinto da Taylor con You Belong With Me, per esprimere la sua personale opinione: ovvero che tale premio non se lo meritasse la Swift!
