Tutto parte quando Simon Cowell pensò di attraversare l'Atlantico e portare X Factor negli Stati Uniti.
Durante l'ultima edizione in cui a Simon Cowell furono assegnati i gruppi musicali la minaccia della versione americana degli One Direction di fece più forte. Ecco quindi che il furbo Simon punta tutto su due gruppi, le Fifth Harmony, un gruppo di cinque ragazze molto dotate vocalmente formate da alcune candidate presentatesi singolarmente e gli Emblem3, un gruppo che esisteva già primo dello show.
Notato l'effetto che i 3 ragazzi facevano sulla moltitudine di ragazze tra cui la stessa Demi Lovato, uno dei quattro giudici dello show, il buon Simon riuscì a portare gli Emblem3 fino alla semifinale in cui furono eliminati dalle colleghe Fifht Harmony classificatesi poi al terzo posto.
Adesso che il fenomeno One Direction è al pieno delle sue potenzialità Simon Cowell ha preparato a dovere gli Emblem3 al loro debutto musicale che avviene ora col singolo, Chloe ( You're The One That I Want ). Già dal titolo si capisce come questa canzone sia la solita canzoncina banale da boyband pronta a far innamorare migliaia di ragazzine.
