Kesha è tornata! Ad anni di distanza dal suo ultimo lavoro, Warrior, e dopo averne passate di cotte e di crude a cause della causa legale contro il produttore Dr. Luke per abusi, Kesha è finalmente libera di rilasciare della nuova musica.
Il suo ritorno avviene con un pezzo molto sentito e lontanissimo da qualsiasi suo singolo precedente, una ballata al piano intitolata Praying. Le parole con cui si apre la canzone sono un chiaro riferimento a tutte le vicessitudini passate dalla cantante negli ultimi tempi: "ma dopo tutto quello che hai fatto io posso ringraziarti per quanto forte sono diventata"

Il brano arriva direttamente con il video musicale, che neanche a dirlo, sembra in tutto e per tutto un pezzo della videografia di Lady Gaga. Innumerevoli i richiami ad alcuni famosi video di Gaga.

Praying è il primo singolo del nuovo album di Kesha, intitolato Rainbow, che vedrà luce tra un mese, l'11 Agosto, di cui sotto la copertina.
