Proprio come Britney Spears, anche un'altra pietra miliare della musica degli ultimi 20 anni si trasferirà a Las Vegas per esibirsi in concerto nei celebri Hotels Casinò. Mariah Carey, dopo il fallimento del suo ultimo album, ha accettato la generosa offerta del Caesar's Palace e terrà una serie di concerti nei prossimi anni.
Mariah è soltanto uno dei grandi nomi che ha scelto di esibirsi in modo fisso nella capitale del Nevada. Come lei anche Celine Diòn e Britney Spears, che con il suo Piece Of Me Concert sta facendo guadagnare una palata di soldi ai gestori del casinò.
La Carey ha confermato da Ellen la notizia facendo sapere che nella scaletta troveremo tutte le sue 18 n.1 hits oltre ad altri famosi brani del suo repertorio.
“I‘m going to do my first ever residency in Vegas at Caesars. This is a special event for me,” Mariah said. “And again, I have to hope that the fans will enjoy this cause I’m gonna be performing, which was kind of inspired by my album Number 1’s, and this is now the updated version with 18 of them.”
“I have so many ideas for the show that I’m currently working on and am excited to perform all of my #1 singles together for the first time and others that are very close to my heart,” said Mariah in a statement. “My songs are the soundtrack of my life and I can’t wait to share them with my fans on stage!”
“Revisiting these songs for the show, working on the updated compilation and creating new music has really let me reconnect with my songs and I hope my fans will enjoy the experience.
