Per chi non lo conoscesse già, Metacritic è un sito in cui convergono tutte le recensioni della critica, non solo in campo musicale.
Metacritic fa poi la media tra i giudizi ricevuti dalle varie testate dando un voto finale ad ogni prodotto, solitamente il giudizio è condivisibile visto il grande range di testate da cui attinge per stilare il punteggio.

In questo 2013 sono state tantissime le uscite discografiche ( più di 1000 gli album recensiti sul sito ) e di seguito trovate la top 25 degli album che hanno ricevuto i voti più alti.
